As we search for significance in our earthy incarnations, we should always make it a point to remember that the beliefs and ideals that add value to our lives will be unique to our existence. Though exploration is an important part of the lengthy journey toward eventual enlightenment, we should not feel that we must take to heart every piece of wisdom we come across. Some profundities and virtues that others embrace may serve no practical purpose when viewed in the context of our individual needs. People may attempt to coerce us into adopting their worldview as our own, but the strength of our principles and our commitment to a course of individuality will serve to protect us from their influences. Our search for meaning can take us in many directions, but we must remember that it is entirely up to each of us to decide which paths we will tread.
