Barack Obama
44th Presidential Elect
What an INCREDIBLE time in History to witness, and be a part of.
I'm ever so thankful that there were more than enough people out there, that understood the value of creating a change in a nation. As change is the only constant in our universe, we must embrace it, and accept it; and according to record numbers, we can see that there was a general consensus among ALL, that Change was necessary, and we all came together to make it happen!!!
As Veteran's Day approaches, I have never felt more proud of and for my country and the people. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Operation Enduring Freedom Wars. I remember falling asleep in the deserts beneath the starry skies of Iraq, and waking up to beautiful sunrises. I remember experiencing what it is actually like to fear for my life as I endured my moments of combat. I remember moments of wonderful friendship with complete strangers, only to say farewell to them days later as they took their journey into the heaven's above. I remember knowing that the only thing that I had to push me through some of the darkest moments of my life, was the knowledge of how to do so, and the Love of my friends and family back home. I Proudly served my country in the Marine Corps, the most difficult branch of service, for 8 years, and never regret a single moment. If situations were different, I would still be active duty, and would have just begun by 9th year as a Marine. Maybe a different lifetime will tell that story.
So, this is a time in our history, in our NOW, to celebrate, and to understand that what is happening, is nothing more and nothing less than Complete Perfection. What a time to be alive. And, just as I have endured through a dark stretch of my life only to wake up to brighter sunrises and beautiful days filled with abundance and prosperity, the nation and the world will begin to celebrate with me.
It's time for me to start planning my first long vacation in 5 years, and there's never been a better reason to travel and Celebrate. My FIRST stop along my journey is going to be my first time in Puerto Vallarta, or Cancun, Mexico. I haven't been to either place yet, and there's never a better time to do so than while I'm in my 20's. Heck, Maybe Spring Break. Anyone Wanna Tag Along?
P.S. I FINALLY got to open my bottle of Veuve Clicquot. I've had it since MAY, and couldn't find a good enough reason to pop it. And Tonight, I did just that. (Glad I Saved it...)
Congratulations Obama and Family,
And Happy Pre-Veteran's Day to All Military Veteran's
Thank You For Your Service.
Love and Light to ALL,
Mike
