TO MY LOVED ONES!!!
Happy Halloween Time!!!
May your festivities bring bright and colorful ceremonies, as we celebrate All Hallows Eve and/or Halloween. Or if you don't celebrate, there's no better time to go out scaring little children with a scary costume. (Just kidding, kinda...)
Oh, and you simply cannot ask for anything more exciting than Creatively Carving Pumpkins with the ones you love. This truly is the season that families, friends and couples get closer, and it's not just because of the weather! It is truly marvelous.
I was taking a break this afternoon in my back yard, and there were so many wonderful colors on the ground. Yellow, Orange, Red, Brown, Some Green... I took some deep breaths, and centered myself in a pure state of knowing that I am in a balanced state of Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, Physical, Social and Financial perfection. I continued to breath, and then I suddenly returned to nature, and beauty.
I've gotta say, this year has been one incredibly amazing year so far. This summer and autumn were two seasons totally worth remembering, as it brought about test after test, and trial after trial. But, as I look back upon my trials and triumphs, I see that everything has been nothing other than Completely Perfect. Not that I am just starting out in my life (considering I turned 26 this year), but I guess you can say, I've been creating a NEW life for myself; one that better represents my deepest desires, and my most heartfelt wishes.
I've finally found along my path of life, the tracks I need to be taking, in order to get to where I want to be in my goals for success and happiness. I've immersed myself into a tremendous amount of personal development over the past year, and just as I thought things couldn't be any worse, and the skies couldn't be any darker, everything in my life changed, and the light at the end of the tunnel became ever so clear and apparent. I couldn't be happier right here and right now, at this very moment that I am alive and breathing and Loving and feeling Loved. My Life is Truly Perfect.
Call me a "Maverick" of sorts. lol... I've picked up an incredible job in Denver as the Director of Marketing, Media and Promotions for 3 amazing restaurants that I've been frequenting for the past 9 years of my life. What makes the whole situation even better is the fact that I have 9 years of belief in these companies, and I know that my Graphic Design talents and Interpersonal Communication abilities can be put to use to help boost the Company Profits and Name Recognition.
I've also chosen the path that has led me to The Art Institute of Colorado. I'm completely enrolled in school, and I must share my total Gratitude for the Marine Corps for better allowing this to happen, and happen so quickly. I start School in January 2009, and I will be receiving my Associates Degree in Graphic Arts and Design toward the end of Summer 2010. It's Happening. It's REALLY HAPPENING. And, it's my first time back in the school environment since I graduated from my Military Schooling in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri in 2001.
BIG CHANGES, and I've always welcomed Change with Wide Open Arms, (It's what makes my life SO Exciting...)
I must share my deepest warmth and gratitude for all of you, for being a part of my life. It's so wonderful to know that I have so many wonderful and caring people from every walk of life, in my life. So, as darkness falls across the land, and the Midnight Hour is close at hand, the creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorize your neighborhood. Don't get caught as the Vampires Victim, take care of yourself, and take some time to HAVE FUN FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND for whatever reason that you wish, (or for none at all)... :)
AND, most importantly, you must always remember to Breath a lot, and Drink lot's of Water. And... Watch out for Tarzan swingin' through the trees on Halloween night...
I'm including a poem that I wrote toward the end of October in 2005.
Wow, how far ago that seems, and yet, how true and ever constant the words and meaning.

*Circle of Life...
By: Michael A. Cordova
Plugging into the Circle of life,
and giving to and drawing out the energy.
The pictures becomes more clear,
and the responses become real.
Creating unity with static energy,
and with the flowing energy of life.
Giving into the unlimited expressions,
the truest forms of life are revealed.
Waking the giant within,
and feeling the surge of,
intense, electrical,
and deeply emotional responses.
Energies, one form to another,
is all and everything that we are.
The capabilities and the possibilities,
and the endless forms of super-creations.
Being the ultimate true oneness,
and to possess the gift,
to give back to life what it has given,
becomes the circle of Life .
